Hollywood legend Samuel L Jackson has revealed why he is a Liverpool fan

http://www.footballnus.com/The Hollywood legend Samuel L Jackson has revealed the reason why he is a Liverpool supporter, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Pulp Fiction actor from the United States, told BBC Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw that he is both fond of the city and Liverpool FC.
Samuel L Jackson went onto say that the reason he is a Liverpool fan is because his first football experience was at Anfield.
“That happened because I shot a film there and I had never been to a proper football game until I got to Liverpool,” Samuel L Jackson told radio host Nick Grimshaw.
“That was like my first football experience so that’s why particularly I am a Liverpool fan, that was my introduction to football and I spent a lot of time in the stadium singing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.”
Samuel L Jackson was promoting his latest film Mrs Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, where he plays the role of Mr Barron.
Liverpool will be hoping the Hollywood star is present this weekend when they take on Swansea City in the Premier League. The Reds are on a four game winning streak and have moved up to forth place in the Premier League.
Swansea City meanwhile, have lost their last three games and are without a win in their last five.

PEACE IS POSSIBLE

We bring greetings and best wishes to all Nigerians, both at home and abroad, in the name of the Almighty God. It is our prayer that this nation shall continue to experience peace, unity, and prosperity for all the citizens. Our history as a nation, though not too long in comparison with other nations in the world, has been turbulent and at times full of uncertainty. Nevertheless, God in His mercy has granted us the grace to survive and remain united.
In 1999, after many years of military rule, Nigeria returned to democracy. There was hope in the nation that liberty and freedom of choice that will ultimately translate into justice, equality and fairness for all had returned to the nation. The tripod of justice, equality, and fairness shall certainly produce prosperity and strengthen the unity of the divergent groups within the nation.
Unfortunately, recent events in the nation signal a steady reversal of the expectations of the founding fathers of Nigeria that this shall be a country based upon the principle of liberal democracy, in which citizens shall have freedom of choice and be treated equally. There are worrisome signals that Nigeria is sliding dangerously down the destructive slope of injustice, oppression, discrimination and disregard for the rule of law.
It is imperative, given the challenges facing the Nigerian Church and the Nigerian nation to stress the need for the Nigerian Church to unite so that it can take its pride of place in the building of one united nation.
It’s very vital to maintain peace and unity in the multi-ethnic and multi-religious country of Nigeria. With more than 250 ethnic tribes and various religious beliefs divided across geo-political lines – of Muslim North and Christian South, — the nation’s unity is being woefully threatened by ethnocentricism, poverty, injustice, sentiments and religious fanaticism. Recently, religious radicalism has exploded in the Northern part of the country causing more harm and hatred among the overall Nigerians.
